About Robert Hisee

Robert Hisee is widely recognised as the UK’s leading Unconscious Mind Therapist and the founder of Unconscious Mind Therapy (UMT) — a groundbreaking approach that has transformed thousands of lives by unlocking the power of the unconscious mind.

With over a decade of experience, Robert has worked with world champion fighters, elite athletes, celebrities, and business leaders, helping them break free from anxiety, phobias, trauma, and self-sabotage. His work has been featured across media, and his reputation as “The Therapist’s Therapist” has made him one of the most sought-after names in modern therapy.

As the creator of the UMT Academy, Robert trains and certifies practitioners worldwide, empowering others to master the techniques that have made him a pioneer in the field. His vision is to bring UMT into mainstream healthcare, working alongside organisations like the NHS to make fast, lasting change available to everyone.

Robert is also the founder of The Holistic Retreat in Marbella, a transformative wellness experience where clients reconnect with their body, mind, and soul. His retreats combine cutting-edge therapeutic methods with holistic practices, offering deep healing and life-changing breakthroughs.

Known for his straight-talking yet compassionate approach, Robert blends science, psychology, and storytelling to help people see beyond their limitations. Whether working one-on-one, leading group programs, or speaking on stage, his mission remains the same: to free people from unconscious patterns and guide them into a life of clarity, confidence, and success.

MISSION

My Mission
My mission is to advance the field of mental health by integrating Unconscious Mind Therapy (UMT) into mainstream therapeutic practice. I am committed to delivering evidence-informed interventions that support individuals in overcoming anxiety, trauma, phobias, and self-limiting beliefs, with a focus on achieving sustainable and measurable outcomes.
Through the development of the UMT Academy, my goal is to equip practitioners with the skills, knowledge, and ethical framework required to deliver effective therapy at scale, ensuring a consistently high standard of care.
I am dedicated to building strong collaborations with healthcare providers, including the NHS, to make rapid, accessible, and lasting change available to all who need it. At the heart of my work is a commitment to improving wellbeing, promoting resilience, and empowering individuals to lead healthier, more fulfilled lives.

THE METHOD

The Method
Unconscious Mind Therapy (UMT) is a pioneering approach developed by Robert Hisee to create rapid, lasting change by working directly with the unconscious mind. Unlike traditional talking therapies, which can take months or years, UMT is designed to resolve anxiety, trauma, phobias, and limiting beliefs in a fraction of the time.
The method combines principles of neuroscience, psychology, hypnosis, and behavioural change into a structured, results-focused process. By bypassing conscious resistance and engaging the deeper patterns of the unconscious mind, UMT enables clients to:

  • Break free from unhelpful patterns that keep them stuck.

  • Reprogram limiting beliefs into empowering ones.

  • Remove symptoms of anxiety and trauma quickly and effectively.

  • Build resilience and confidence for long-term wellbeing.

Every session is tailored to the individual, ensuring that therapy is not only effective but also safe, ethical, and aligned with the client’s goals.
Today, UMT is being taught through the UMT Academy, where practitioners are trained to deliver this method with precision and care, making it a growing force in the future of mental health and wellbeing.
